About Us

Landreth Engineering Co. (later named Landreth Fastener Corporation) was founded by Orville Landreth in 1962. Tom Landreth, son of Orville Landreth, assumed Presidency of the company in 1977. He attended the University of Texas at Austin. He has worked in all technical areas of the company since 1967 and is responsible for numerous cold heading machine designs and improvements as well as numerous innovative tool and die designs. With his vast knowledge and experience in the parts manufacturing industry, he works closely to assist customers in achieving their needs, specifications and concerns.

We are located 8700 Scranton Houston, Texas. The manufacturing operation is designed for high-speed production of semi-tubular rivets, cold-headed specials and precision machined parts. The company began as a one cold-header operation and has developed into a 35,000 square foot manufacturing facility with 27 cold-headers, a precision machine shop, a self-supporting tooling shop and an automatic packaging and inspection area. We currently have over 100 pieces of production equipment for both cold-heading and CNC machining. Landreth is housed in a 35,000 square ft. facility on 3 ½ acres of land.

All parts are dimensionally inspected at the time of production and are inspected before shipment with the highest quality mechanical equipment available in the industry. In required situations, we perform statistical process controls during our manufacturing operations to meet customers' demands.

Landreth produces parts for manufacturing operations nationwide with a broad customer base by industry, including furniture, appliances, automotive, the oil & petrochemical related industries, antennas and ladder manufacturers.
